CERTAINLY A SCARCE ROUTING.

Romania. Acknowledge Receipt "Retour Recepisa" N* 105 sent from CAHUL on 14/10 (1865) to Galatz. Franked with Prince Cuza 20 para red stamp (1* type) with huge margins and top sheet edge killed by two grids. NICE AND SCARCE.

Romania. Folded letter with message sent from Cospoli (dated 10/8/1873) to Mr Sarabian in Roustchouk, Bulgaria, where there was a large Armenian community. Sent via Danube, the Austrian Levant 10 Soldi stamp was killed in Varna by the square postmark "LETTERE ARRIVATE PER MARE VARNA" on 23/8/1873. Very light arrival of Roustchouk applied on back. INTERESTING.
